OV17-ETH Series Camera Core Overview
OV17-ETH is a high performance and low power thermal imaging core with Gigabit Ethernet interface. It is based on an uncooled microbolometer detector with 640x480 resolution and 17 µm pixel pitch.
OV17-ETH offers frame rates up to 60 Hz with an NETD option which is lower than 30 mK.
Both digital video transfer and camera control are done over Gigabit Ethernet which makes system design easier. Also analog video and camera control over RS232 serial interface options are available. These features make OV17-ETH camera core a suitable solution for many systems.

When analog video output is enabled, power consumption will be increased by 100 mW.
In all modes, image processing algorithms other than local contrast enhancement are active.
When local contrast enhancement is enabled, power consumption will be increased by 40 mW.
